Description

K6 Telephone Kiosk located outside the Post Office in Borrowby is a Grade II listed telephone kiosk. This type K6 was designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and manufactured by Carron Co in Stirlingshire. The kiosk is made of cast iron and features a square shape with a domed roof. It has unperforated Elizabethan crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and door.
