Description

MILL LANE 1. 1133 Northover Farmhouse, including outbuildings at rear ST 43 NE 3/99 II 2. Front at right-angles to road. Probably late C18, with some alterations. 2 storeys and attic. Ashlar, roughcast finish to gable-end. Shaped gables. Slate mansard, dormers. Moulded cornice and low parapet. 3 windows. Sashes, some paired. Later bay to left on 1st floor. Stone Tuscan porch. Extension of lower elevation to left. a range of outbuildings continues along street to rear, forming one side of a yard. The buildings on the street are 1-storey with lofts, gablets in slate roof. Blocked-up elliptical arch in wall.
