Description
Northover Farmhouse, including outbuildings at the rear, is likely from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations. The farmhouse is two storeys with an attic and features ashlar stone with a roughcast finish on the gable end. It has shaped gables, a slate mansard roof with dormers, a moulded cornice, and a low parapet. There are three windows, including some paired sashes, and a later bay window on the first floor to the left. A stone Tuscan porch is present at the entrance, and there is an extension on the lower elevation to the left. The outbuildings extend along the street at the rear, forming one side of a yard. These buildings are single-storey with lofts and have gablets in the slate roof. There is also a blocked-up elliptical arch in the wall.
