Description

No. 3 Mill Lane is a late medieval building that incorporates part of the Abbot's fulling-mill constructed in 1517. It has two storeys and is made of colourwashed rubble, with the gable on the left side coming forward. The roof is covered with pantiles. The front features three windows, which are a mix of modern casements set beneath wooden lintels. The original stone gable end has a parapet and kneelers, along with an old chimney stack and a two-light stone mullioned window that has a rectangular drip mould. The rear of the building extends over the stream.
