The Walls To The Kitchen Garden, Approximately 30 Metres North North West Of Coker Court

The Walls to the Kitchen Garden, located approximately 30 metres north-northwest of Coker Court, are boundary walls that likely date from the early 19th century. These walls are constructed from ham stone rubble and stand between 4 and 5.5 metres high, featuring stone and tile capping. The inside of the walls, as well as the southwest outer face, are finished in rendered brickwork. The main entrance to the garden is accessed through East Coker Paddock, which includes an elliptical stone archway with double doors in the northeast wall, designed to fit the layout of several houses. The east wall is somewhat lower in height and features an angled design with three buttresses. There are two additional doorways: one to the southwest with a rustic quoined surround and 'Y' tracery door panelling, and the other featuring a cambered and chamfered arch surround with studded plank doors.
