Description

Sea Bridge is a road bridge located about 160 metres north-west of Sea Mill Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century or earlier and is constructed from ham stone ashlar. The bridge features three semi-circular arches and has angled cutwaters on the south side. It has a straight parapet that does not have a separate coping and includes angled end splays on the south side. The bridge was taken over by Ilminster Trust, which widened and repaired it in 1805, with further works completed in 1834.
