Description
Old Mill House is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed of local stone, which is rendered and colourwashed, and features a thatched roof with a plain gable on the south side and a half-hipped roof on the north side. The house has two storeys and consists of four bays. The windows are horizontal-bar casements with three lights; the upper windows are of an earlier design, while the lower windows are deeper and likely date from the 19th century. There is a boarded door in the third bay, which is set in an open timber and thatched porch. A lean-to is attached to the north gable, and there is an extension at the rear. The interior has not been seen. It is presumed that this house had connections with the former Donyatt Flour Mill, which was located opposite and has since been demolished.
