SOUTH PETHERTON CP COMPTON DURVILLE 2/93 House about 30 metres north-east of the Manor House (formerly listed as Manor Farmhouse) 19.4.61

GV II

Detached farmhouse. Later C18. Ham stone, roughly cut and squared with ashlar dressings; triple-roll clay tiles between stepped coped gables; ashlar slab chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays. To ground floor, plain mullioned windows with slightly chamfered edges, 2-light bay 2 and 3-light bays 1 and 3; C20 casement inserted to right of bay 4; to first floor 3-light casement windows, those to bays 1 and 2 of earlier pattern; all except C20 window having rectangular leaded panes: to left of lower bay 4 a boarded door in deep recess under timber lintel. Interior not seen.
