Description

This stable and coach house, located adjacent to the rear of Holdenhurst, was built in 1839, as indicated by a tablet that reads "Mary Hardwick 1839". The building is rendered and features a hipped slate roof. It has a broad segmental-headed door opening with paired plank doors, and there are two-light casements on each side of the entrance. Inside, there is a small reused 18th-century fireplace.
