Description
Rosemary Cottage is a shop and house that features early 19th century characteristics, although its core likely dates back to the 17th century. The building is constructed of painted rubble with coped verges and has a pantile roof with brick stacks. It stands two storeys high with a single bay and a gabled street frontage. On the first floor, there is a 12-pane sash window. The ground floor has a shop front that includes a projecting canted bay window with 15 lights, and to the right, there are external folding wooden shutters. A half-glazed door with a decorative bulls-eye panel is located to the left, and there is a metal tent-canopy hood over the bay window that extends as a pentice over the door.
