Description
This stable block and coach house, built around 1830, is located approximately 100 metres southeast of The Hurst. It is constructed from coursed and dressed limestone and features a slate roof that is hipped to the left. There is an off-centre brick ridge stack on the left side. The building sits on a sloping site, which allows for a cider house in the basement.
The façade includes four elliptical-headed coach entries, each with labels, keystones, and ashlar piers and dressings. These entries are separated by a tall semi-circular archway on the left, which also has a label and keystone. To the right, there is a stable door and a window, although these are partially obscured by 20th-century garages that are not of listable quality. The rear (south) side of the building features loft doors in the upper part.
