Description
The stable block, built in 1829 as noted on the keystone, is located 25 meters southwest of Hursley House. It is constructed of brick with a slate roof and lead ridges. The building features a three-bay, two-storey central block flanked by single-storey, three-bay wings on each side. The central block includes an archway made of rubbed brick with Portland stone key blocks. Each side has a panel with a depressed rubbed brick arch head, a door accessed by three stone steps, and a 16-pane sash window above. The roof is hipped and has symmetrical stacks topped by a bellcote with a square base and a cupola above. To the right, there is a link wing from the house, while to the left, there is a seven narrow bay blind arcade with rubbed brick heads and a hipped roof. The wings feature double carriage doors on the opposite side.
