Description

No. 10 West Street is a shop with a house that dates back to the 18th century and has been modified over time. It is constructed from local stone rubble that has been cut and squared, and features a double Roman clay tile roof with simple gables and brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays. The sash windows have 16 panes and are topped with dovetailed stone lintels. The lower bay 2 window retains remnants of an earlier label as a hood mould, while the lower bay 1 has a shopfront from around 1900, which includes a recessed glazed door to the right. The interior has not been seen.
