Description
No. 13 Finkle Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and has some alterations from the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a coped left gable with a shaped kneeler, a pantile roof, and brick stacks at the ends.
The front of the building is two stories high with three windows. The ground floor has a modern shop front supported by detached Ionic columns and an entablature. To the left, there is a recessed glazed door with a patterned overlight, next to two canted shop windows that have small-pane glazing set over stone risers. On the first floor, there are three 12-pane sash windows, each with painted timber lintels and painted stone sills.
