Description

Copper's Roost is a house built in the early 19th century. It features coursed rubble walls and a fishscale tile roof, with coped verges on the central section and hipped roofs on the side wings, which are lower in height and have no windows on the ground floor. The building has two storeys and is arranged in a 1:3:1 bay configuration. It includes small 12-pane sash windows set in freestone surrounds. The central door opening has a chamfered stone surround and a cornice, leading to a six-panelled door.
