Description

Boord's Orchard is a house that dates from the 17th century, with an 18th-century wing on the right and further alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and ashlar, featuring thatch and slate roofs, with coped verges, a finial, and ashlar stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with 2 and 3-light casements and wooden lintels on the ground floor. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with a wooden hood supported by rustic posts, flanked by two three-stage ashlar buttresses. The right wing is a single bay with casements that have glazing bars. The end gable face includes oval windows with four keys.
