Description

Box Bush Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed of rubble with a slate roof and coped verges, one of which has a base for a finial. It features 19th-century brick stacks and is two storeys high with an attic, comprising three bays. The ground floor has stone-mullioned windows with two, three, and four lights, all adorned with stopped labels. There is a central door opening with a plank door, topped by a gabled wood hood supported on brackets. Inside, notable features include a fireplace with a depressed four-centred stone lintel that has a carved rosette in a quatrefoil shape, as well as chamfered ceiling beams with stops.
