Description

Spring Wickham Cottages are two cottages dating from the 18th century. They are built of rubble with coped verges and have end brick stacks topped by a double-Roman tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high and feature a 2:2 bay arrangement. The windows are 2-light edge-moulded stone-mullioned windows and 2-light casements. The door opening has a chamfered freestone surround and contains a door with six flush-set panels. There is an additional door opening to the right. Adjacent to the roadside are good rusticated ashlar gate piers, and there is an iron gate with ornamental spear caps.
