Description
The gate and gatepiers, located about 250 metres southwest of Halsway Manor, are likely from the early 20th century but designed in an 18th-century style. They feature wrought iron construction. The gatepiers are approximately one and a half metres high, with fleur de lys headed standards and curved stays. The double gates match the height of the gatepiers and also have fleur de lys headed standards. The lower half of the gates includes a thin band of scroll decoration that continues into the gatepiers, and there is a crested centerpiece with enriched decoration. Additionally, there are stops to hold the gates back.
