Description
No. 11 Coombe Street is a semi-detached cottage that dates from the late 18th century and is part of a row of similar buildings. It is constructed of local stone that has been pebbledash rendered and colourwashed, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof and featuring a brick chimney stack on the party wall. The cottage is two storeys tall and has two bays.
The first bay has a composite window with an 8-pane sash and matching 8-pane sidelights. The second bay features a wide painted stone door surround with an architrave and a pediment supported by console brackets, leading to a plain door flanked by half-length sidelights. Above this, there are two small-pane casement windows. The other half of the pair, No. 9, has been significantly altered and is not included in this listing.
