Description

This is an 18th-century house, originally at the end of a row, and now divided into two shops. The building is constructed of local stone rubble with concrete imitation stone slates covering the roof, and a brick chimney stack at the east end. It is two storeys high with an attic, and originally had two bays. The ground floor has two 20th-century shopfronts, the left with a central recessed doorway, and the right with a recessed doorway to its right, both with plain fascias. Above the shopfronts are two 16-pane sash windows set flush within the wall. A central 20th-century dormer window, with a steel casement, is visible in the roof. The east side of the building has been rendered. The interior remains unseen.
