Description
This is a detached house located about 30 meters east-south-east of the Church of St Michael, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks at each end. The house has two storeys with attics and consists of five bays. The windows are sash type, set in plain toothed ashlar surrounds, with 12 panes in bays 1, 3, and 5, and slimmer windows with 4 panes in bays 2 and 4. In the lower part of bay 3, there is a part-glazed door beneath a semi-circular arch, which is topped by a radial-glazed fanlight. The east gable has 20th-century casement windows at attic level, and there is a single-storey extension with a hipped roof on the west gable. The interior has not been seen. The house is included mainly for its group value with the Church of St Michael.
