Description
This is a house located at 11 New Street, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble, rendered on the front, with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate Mansard roof between coped gables, along with brick chimney stacks at the ends.
The house has two storeys with attics and consists of three bays, with extensions on the south side. It has a plinth and features sash windows with 12 panes in plain openings that have segmental-arched heads. The first bay includes a 19th-century door with a rectangular fanlight set within a stone architrave. Bays one and three have flat-roofed dormers that contain small 12-pane sash windows.
To the left of bay one, there is a single-storey annexe with an attic, which has a gable facing the road and features 16-pane sash windows on both floors, with the upper window being larger. There is also an additional lower extension at the rear of this annexe, which runs parallel to the street. The interior has not been inspected.
