Description
Church Stile is a house located 30 metres south of the Church of St Michael. It was built in the late 18th century and has some alterations from the late 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed stone and features a corrugated asbestos roof with verge parapets, along with brick stacks at both ends and in the centre of the ridge.
The house has two storeys and an attic, with a front that includes three windows made up of 2- and 3-light block mullioned casement windows. There is a three-light range of windows that is widely spaced to the left, and a boarded door located beneath the centre window. At the rear, there is a blocked former stair window that had three transoms.
