Description
Salisbury House is a house that dates from the 17th century, with a core that is likely older, and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of rubble and is colourwashed, featuring some freestone dressings. It has a thatched roof with coped verges, and there are three brick stacks along with one ashlar stack, with a brick stack on a broad projecting chimney-breast that has offsets.
The elevation facing the churchyard of the Church of St Michael has four bays, with a mix of one, two, and three-light casements under wooden lintels, and square-paned leaded lights. There is a door opening on the south elevation, which includes a porch and a half-glazed door. Additionally, there is a twelve-pane sash window and a three-light casement on the gable end that faces the roadside.
