Description

The stable and coach house adjoining No 4 is a mid-19th century building, dating from around 1840, and has been altered over time. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof. The structure is 1½ storeys high and consists of two bays.

On the left side, there is a board door with a fanlight above it, while the right side has a carriage door featuring double board doors, both set under an ashlar segmental arch with a raised keystone and end voussoirs. These arches are connected by a band, and the carriage doorway is flanked by stone blocks from which the doors are hung. Between the two doorways, there is a tall window. Above the left-hand door, which is linked to it, is a keyed oculus with a board hatch. Above the carriage door, there is a taking-in doorway that has been partially weatherboarded and includes a small pane window, rising above the eaves.
