Olivers, And Adjoining Wall To West

Olivers is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble masonry and features a slate roof with brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, each with 12-pane sash windows set in raised, lugged cement surrounds that include keystones. The central entrance has a wooden doorcase with a pilaster strip, lacking capitals, and a cavetto moulded lintel. The door has panelled reveals and is a six-panel design, partially glazed. There is a similar window on the left side of the building, which has a sunken doorway. To the right, there is a boundary wall made of random rubble with hit and miss coping, standing about 2.5 metres high, featuring a square-headed opening with a plank door. This wall continues as part of the wall of Cridlands.
