Description
The Old Parsonage is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings. It features stone slate roofs with stone ridge and gable-end stacks. The building has two storeys and a double-range plan, with a south elevation that consists of four bays.
The entrance is off-centre and has a stone surround with a semi-circular head, featuring a 19th-century half-glazed door with a fanlight above. Above the door, there is a single-light window with a stone surround. To the right of the entrance, there is a pair of glazing-bar sash windows set in a stone surround with a central mullion, along with another glazing-bar sash window above. On the left side, there is a projecting gabled bay with a glazing-bar sash window on each floor, both set in stone surrounds. To the far left, there is a plain 19th-century sash window on the first floor.
