Description
Orchard House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features red sandstone coursed rubble walls and a graduated slate roof, along with brick gable chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. There are two bay windows with a segmental plan that flank a round-headed entrance arch, which has a false keystone. The quoins are made of slightly lighter stone, and the entrance and windows have plain surrounds. The front door is a six-panel design with a patterned fanlight above it. The bay windows have curved sashes, all fitted with glazing bars. The listing does not include any out-buildings.
