Description

Kylemore House is a late 18th-century building, with alterations to the ground floor at a later date. It is two storeys high and built of red brick, set at a right angle to the road. The roof is hipped and covered with pantiles, with plain eaves. Quoins mark the central three-window section. There are five windows in total. The first-floor central window is round-headed, and the windows are sash windows with glazing bars, featuring keyblocks. The ground floor has a projecting bay to the left, with French windows and marginal glazing bars. Similar windows are found to the right, with shutters. A doorcase features an open pediment and a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panel door. The property forms a group of listed buildings on the west side of Lambrook Street.
