Description

No 86 on High Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall. It features a red brick front and a pantile roof, with an eaves cornice made of chamfered headers. The facade includes three windows with slightly cambered headers and keystones, and the sashes are set in plain reveals with glazing bars. To the left, there is an inserted shop window, and the round-headed doorway has a three-panel door topped with a semi-circular fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 86 to 90 (even), Nos 2 and 4 Bove Town, Summer House, and a drinking fountain on Lambrook Street.
