Description

Thorneyholme Hall is a late 18th-century house, now divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of dressed stone, with a stone coping, kneelers, and moulded gutter corbels. The roof is part stone and part blue slate. The main front of the house is symmetrical and features three bays with large, flat-faced mullion windows of two lights to either side of a single-light window above the entrance. The doorway has moulded imposts and a round arch with a keystone, above a fanlight and a partially glazed door. The rear of the house faces the road, with three sash windows to the outer bays, each of two lights decreasing in height towards the eaves. A tall, round-headed stair window is also present. A smaller, two-storey wing extends to the right, mirroring the details of the main house.
