Description
Nabs House is a house dated 1756, as indicated by the date stone in a niche above the door that reads 'William and/Elizabeth Nabs/1756/and their daughters'. The building is constructed of coursed rubble, with the stone being painted in 1980. It features a stone slate roof, stone coping, and moulded kneelers. The house has a double pile plan with a direct entry and a rear centre stairhall, and it stands two storeys tall.
There are two 3-light stone mullion and transom windows, with square mullions and window surrounds that are recessed. The central doorway is adorned with a cornice and frieze on pilasters, which are located behind a modern porch. Gable chimneys are present, and the rear elevation includes a 6-light stair window.
