Description

Whitehough Cottages comprise a terrace of four houses dating from the early 18th century. The cottages are constructed of rubble with quoins, and have a stone slate roof with three chimneys. The ground floor features four plain doors and four altered windows. A recent porch was added to the left-hand cottage in 1983. The first floor has two small square windows per cottage, with four of the windows to the right being two-light designs. A central stone tablet is dated 1621. The building may have originally been a farmhouse; a two-storey gabled porch at the rear is no longer present.
