Description
The Standerwick family monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 4 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Aldhelm and St Eadburgha. This late 18th-century monument is made of Ham stone and features a ledger top with a cyma recta moulded cornice and plinth. The end pilasters are divided horizontally into three unequal parts and have raised and fielded panels. The south side is inscribed with the name of Richard Standerwick, who died in 1780, while the east side is inscribed for Robert Standerwick, who died in 1794.
