MUCHELNEY CP - ST42SW 8/208 Stuckey Monument in churchyard 4 metres north west of porch, - Church of SS Peter and Paul GV II

Chest tomb. Early C19. Ham stone. Moulded base; panelled pilasters to sides, with oval plaques to ends and flanks with Adam style fan decoration in corners; shallow moulded hipped top. Commemorates William Stuckey died 184 - and his wife Susanna, died 1835, members of the prominent Langport banking and merchantile family.
