Description
The White House is a former farmhouse with origins in the 18th century, which was remodeled in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick that has been rendered and colorwashed, topped with a hipped plain clay tile roof that has some undulations, and features brick end chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The ground floor has large four-pane sash windows, while the upper floor has three-light horizontal bar casement windows, all set in plain openings. In the center of the facade is a projecting rendered single-storey porch that has a semi-circular outer arch, leading to a fielded-panel segmental arched door. Inside, there is a late 18th-century staircase, fielded panelled doors, and stone flag floors.
