Farmhouse. Late C17 enlargement of earlier dwelling, altered C19, in very poor condition at time of survey (April 1984). Red sandstone random rubble, under steeply pitched concrete tile roof 5 bays left with brick stack left gable ant, right lower cob wing of earlier dwelling with corrugated iron roof and external stack right gable end, buttressed centre. Plan: appears to be incomplete, 5 bays of intended 7 bay dwelling, left 2 cell with hall containing T plan stair, kitchen of earlier dwelling right. 2 storeys and attic and single storey with attic, 5:1 bays; first floor two single light mullioned and transomed windows left, three 2-light right, ground floor similar with 6-panel raised and fielded door end bay right, moulded door case, rectangular light above, all ground floor windows under hood moulds, Right one 2-light mullioned and transomed window to kitchen. Interior: oval moulded ceiling and hall with T-plan stair rooms to left altered C19, kitchen with large open fireplace and chamfered wooden lintol with oven projection.
