Description
Langaller House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from the 17th century and underwent alterations in the late 18th to early 19th century. The exterior is roughcast, possibly over cob, with a thatched roof that is hipped to the right. There are brick stacks located at the left gable end and to the right of the cross passage. The building is L-shaped, with a gable end wing facing the road, and consists of three cells and a modified cross passage. It is one and a half storeys high and features 19th to 20th century windows. The roof has three 3-light eyebrow dormer casements, while the ground floor has 3-light casements. The entrance is located at the center left and consists of a 6-panel door beneath a gabled porch with triple Roman tiles supported by decorative cast iron supports. The right return has an eyebrow dormer, and the long left return facing the road has early 19th century leaded iron casements with quadrant stays. The interior has not been seen.
