Description

Cranmere is a house dating from around 1810. It features painted stucco over a rubble base, with pilaster quoin strips and a slate roof that has overhanging eaves supported by brackets. The building is double pile and has two storeys with three bays. It includes 16-pane sash windows and a central six-panel fielded door that is partially glazed and topped with a fanlight. The entrance is sheltered by a flat canopy porch with a moulded cornice, which is supported by thin wooden brackets. This house was formerly known as Hill Villa.
