ST21NE STAPLE FITZPAINE CP 11/163 Range of outbuildings about 200 m west of Staple Park Farmhouse

GV II

Range comprising former cider house with barn and double threshing barn adjoining. Probably late Cl8-early C19 possibly incorporating earlier structure. Square and coursed local stone walls enclosing cider house left, gable end wall and internal wall, lower random rubble plinth visible on facade, otherwise obscured, weatherboarded facade, thatched roof hipped to right, half hipped left. Plan: 2-storey square cider house right, 4-bay barn centre, 5-bay threshing barn left. Cider house, loft opening over inserted garage doorway, lateral stair on right return; central barn.
