Description
This range of outbuildings, located to the east of The Buildings Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. Constructed from coursed squared rubble with quoins, the byre at the east end and the gin-gang at the west end feature graduated stone-flagged roofs. The threshing barn, positioned to the right of center, has a corrugated asbestos roof, while the taller ramp barn to the left of center boasts a graduated slate roof and a stone-flagged outshut at the rear. The byre has two doors at the front, the threshing barn includes a part-blocked wagon door at the front and a small blocked door at the rear. The ramp barn features two byre doors, a 20th-century window with a loft door above, and a wagon door at the rear. All doors, except for the rear of the threshing barn, have segmental heads. The gin-gang has a semicircular termination, and the gaps between its piers are now blocked.
