Description

This barn and byre date from the 18th century and are situated adjacent to Nelson House. The barn and byre are set at right angles to each other, connected by a small porch with a roof of graduated slate. The buildings are constructed of coursed squared rubble with quoins. The barn has a corrugated asbestos roof, while the barn itself is roofed with graduated slate. The west side of the barn features an elliptical head to a wagon door on the right, with a window and door on the ground floor. Above are openings for access to the hay loft and an upper window.
