CORFE CP WHITFORD HILL (East side)

ST21NW Milepost at NGR ST 2416 1783 II Milepost. 1860. Cast iron. Triangular in plan, hollow in section, sloping top, inscribed in raised letters north face "Honiton 13 3/8", southface "Taunton 5". Inscribed on plinth with the name of the iron founder, Allen and Co,Taunton. Part of a good collection of cast iron mileposts on the Taunton to Honiton road.
