Description
This building is a barn and cider house, likely dating from the 18th century, with an extension added in the early 19th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth, a timber frame with weatherboards, a rubble extension, and a pantiled roof. The structure consists of six bays, including the cider house, and is oriented from north-north-east to south-south-west.
On the east elevation, there are opposed ledged doors leading to the threshing floor in the third bay from the right, and an opening to a toilet above the cider house to the left. The north gable has a ledged loft door, while the west elevation has two vent slits located to the right of the doors to the threshing floor. Inside, there is a working cider mill, and the trusses feature raking struts connecting the ties to the principals.
