Description

The gates, railings, and dwarf wall in front of West Kilton Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. They feature wrought iron and are set in a random rubble local stone wall. The railings have spearhead uprights and urn standards, arranged in three bays on either side of the double gates. The gates are designed with quartered circles decorated with 'C' scrolls and circles in the spandrels, topped with spikes and a grid below. This structure forms an attractive group that complements the contemporary facade of West Kilton Farmhouse.
