Description
This is an unknown chest tomb located in the churchyard, 5 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Laurence. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and corner pilasters that have scroll decoration in relief. There is a similar central pilaster on the north and south sides that divides two shields in relief, which bear dedicatory inscriptions that are now much decayed. The tomb also has a moulded cornice and a slab top with ogee moulding around the edge.
