Description

Cotclose is an 18th-century farmhouse located on Marchant's Hill in Gurney Slade. The building is rendered with a pantile roof featuring coped verges and end brick stacks. It stands two storeys high and has two bays, with two-light moulded stone-mullioned windows. The central door opening has a plank door and is sheltered by a 20th-century half-glazed gabled porch. To the right, there is a lower height addition that matches the style of the original building, with a casement window on each floor.
