Description
Old Down Cottage is an early 19th-century house located in Binegar. It is constructed of random rubble with a hipped slate roof and brick stacks. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and marginal lights, set within plain painted surrounds. A window on the centre of the first floor has a semi-circular head and Gothic glazing. A central, half-glazed porch, topped with a hipped roof, provides access to the house via a half-glazed door.
