Description
This boundary stone, dating from the 18th century, is located on the roadside at the coordinates ST 6296 5231. It is made of dressed stone and features a low pier that stands at right angles to the road. The west side of the stone has incised lettering that reads "Ston Easton," while the east side reads "Binegar." This stone marks the ancient boundary between the parishes of Ston Easton and Binegar, although it does not align with the current parish boundary. It is included in the heritage register due to its historical significance.
