Description

This is a boundary stone from the 18th century, made of dressed stone. It features a pier with a canted top that is set into the roadside verge. The stone has an incised bench mark and incised lettering that reads "Binegar P.M." It marks the ancient boundary between the parishes of Ston Easton and Binegar, although it is not on the current parish boundary. The stone is included in the register due to its historical significance.
